Here’s some of what I’ve been up to lately (look how I just skipped straight past the apology):
- starting today, a new blog series for Bitch Media on the fraught relationship between feminism and alcohol;
- earlier this week, I posted the second installment of a still-in-progress series for The Lund Report on the ongoing effects of lead paint on public health;
- stringing for The Oregonian: I recently traveled to the tiny, pretty town of Yacolt to write a story about the new Express (read: almost completely unstaffed) library there;
- running for office? A friend wrote me in for a local post for which there was no declared candidate (and for which I may or may not meet the legal qualifications). In the interest of social experimentation, I obliged and began a cheeky, haphazard campaign. I…I don’t even know.
